The data entered by you in the contact form will be retained by us until you request erasure, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

On our website you have the possibility to apply for one of our vacant positions or to send an unsolicited application. If you wish, you can apply directly via our website. To do this, the applicant must enter the following data on our website: Title, name, address including country and an email address. The applicant is then free to upload any application files such as cover letters or CVs. In addition, the applicant has the option of sending a short self-written message.

All data processed via our application form will be specially encrypted before dispatch and can only be viewed and downloaded by us in an area protected by an additional password. All applications will of course be treated with the utmost care and confidentiality.

If an applicant does not agree with the data collection via our website, we offer alternative application possibilities by e-mail or regular mail.

The provider of this website uses services of etracker GmbH based in Hamburg, Germany (www.etracker.com) for the analysis of usage data. Cookies are used to enable a statistical analysis of the use of this website by its visitors and the display of use-related content or advertising. Cookies are small text files that are stored by the Internet browser on the user's device. etracker cookies do not contain any information that makes it possible to identify a user. Online CRM Software System – Salesforce
If you fill out a sales request or support request (form) on our website, agree to the privacy policy and submit the form, the data you enter in the form will be automatically stored in our company account with the world's leading cloud-based online CRM (customer relationship management) software system Salesforce (salesforce.com Germany GmbH, Erika-Mann-Str. 31, 80636 Munich, Germany). All stored data are available for use by DESKO only. Data protection has a high priority at Salesforce and Salesforce is committed to comply with all data protection relevant principles and regulations. Salesforce is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, providing an additional guarantee of compliance with European data protection laws when data is processed in the United States. In addition, Salesforce is also certified by TÜV Rheinland. Furthermore, Salesforce stores the data exclusively on servers in Germany and France.

If users do not consent to data collection and storage in Salesforce's cloud system, we provide these users with alternative contact options for submitting service requests via email, telephone, fax, or mail.

Web Portal Repairline
In order to process and monitor our repair cases, we make use of the services of initPRO GmbH (Franz-Mayer-Strasse 1, 93053 Regensburg, Germany) or its Repairline Web Portal. If you start a repair enquiry in the After-Sales-Support section of our website, you will be forwarded to www.repairline.de after selecting your region. On the web portal we have our own, protected customer area to which you will be forwarded directly. In order to process your repair request, you must enter the following data here: serial number of the damaged device, its accessories, error report, customer data (title, name, email, telephone number, street, zip code and city), delivery address and different billing address if required. All data processed here are exclusively for DESKO’s use.

If users do not agree with data collection and data storage in the Repairline web portal, we offer them alternative contact options for submitting repair requests by e-mail (repair@desko.de) or telephone (+49 921 / 79279 -0).

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube page operated by Google. The site is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin (product pages in which one of our YouTube videos is embedded), a connection will be established to YouTube's servers. This will tell the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you can allow YouTube to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. YouTube is used in the interest of an enjoyable presentation of our online offers. Analysis – Tracking Tool (Website Analytics-Matomo)

We use the tool Matomo of InnoCraft Ltd. in Wellington, New Zealand (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand) on our website in order to analyze usage data. The data processing serves the purpose of analysis of this website and of its visitors. To this end, data is collected and stored for marketing and optimization purposes.

The information produced (requested URL, time, shortened IP address and approximate location of the requesting device, referring website, time spent on the site, operating system and browser with versions status; if applicable, whether a recurring visit) are stored on our Matomo server and are accessed for purposes of evaluation. The IP address of your device is saved only after anonymisation through reduction. The collected data is not transferred to third parties.

Data processing is done on the legal basis of Art. 6 subsection1 letter f (legitimate interest) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). Our legitimate interest arises in the optimization of our online-offer and our web presence. Use profiles can be produced from the data under a pseudonym. Cookies can be used for this purpose. The cookies enable the recognition of the internet browser. Without the separate consent of the data subject, data collected with Matomo technologies will not be used to personally identify users of this website and are not merged with the personal data of the bearer of the pseudonym.

You have the option to object to the storage and evaluation of this data concerning your visit by placement of an opt-out cookie. As long as the opt-out cookie is set in your browser, the data is not collected. Depending on your browser settings, the opt-out cookie can be deleted. Then a renewed activation is required.
